You can view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easy to understand although we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum only or a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a clean area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's flagship robot mop and vacuum, is the most recent version. It's not like the model from last year, this one features an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad which greatly improves carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pick up fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may overlook.
The Roborock model, like the other two models I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it avoid obstacles such as walls, furniture, and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating dual cameras that can detect objects, determining whether they are walls or other surfaces. It will then automatically alter its direction and clean the objects without a pause.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, however, it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek and angular design is eye catching and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child-lock, and a home-button to bring the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid, you will find 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying, and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only downside I found with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. You can replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to take the mount off for washing manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these advanced features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops to enable voice control on this model which is unfortunate considering the quality of its performance.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its innovative design lets you to personalize and efficiently clean while saving time.

They can also adjust suction power, change modes, look at floor plans and maps, and manage mopping setting. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous features that make it a perfect option for busy families. 4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive on the market however, it comes with a lot of additional features that distinguish it from. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. It uses two high-speed mops to clean floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and it comes with a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles and remove spills and dirt-stained spots.
